Back in the Dream Time

I visited my site using the Way Back Machine and was immediately transported in time. Back to when the internet was new. I used Photoshop and Dreamweaver back then. Got pretty good at it. Used Adobe Flash too. In fact, Flash was thee app to have. Those were fun times.
Sites were graphic intensive as hell. Take a look at the pics above and below. Web pages were dominated by pngs and jpegs with hot spots. No more. Now it's fancy prose with a static image. Text with blue links dominate the scene today.

I see a return to graphic intensive pages. The same way Photoshop and Flash helped web sites rank high back in the day, URLs featuring 3D and ai, and immersive environments utilizing sound and feedback will push web pages to the front today. I'm talking personal web sites at that.
Home grown pages aren't competing with the giant government monitored and controlled social media platforms yet. There's just too much traffic directed at those monstrous constructs. That's going to change though. Folks are starved for an authentic internet experience. Like we used to have.
No need to use the Way Back Machine to experience the real internet. Personal and independent sites will be the coming wave. All you have to do is hit those links tucked under those 'handles' you find on your favorite Social Media Platforms. Take a chance, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
Take care, and keep creating.
Sun Juice Mechanics

I've been working for close to a year at editing and in some instances, completely overhauling SJM. I finished this book back in 2014. Had it edited by the late GREAT genre bending writer, Valjeanne Jeffers, then sat on it. No more! This thing is nearly ready for another professional edit!
Sun Juice Mechanics or SJM, has evolved into an extension of the Daathverse. It's almost as if spirit kept me from publishing this work until I developed or started the Daathverse. For those of you wondering what's going with the channel, well, it's the above.
I'm looking forward to getting SJM into the hands of a top notch editor so I can: get it to the people; re-start the Daathverse; drop book two of SJM - which is about 30% done BTW, and get back to hanging out in various FB groups of creators, watching my fav Youtube channels, and honoring the borrowed creativity bestowed upon me at birth.
Hope everyone is doing well. Subscribe to the youtube channel, and sign up here to get notified of future Sun Fiction.
Peace.
